Common questions
What is the difference between personal care and medical care?
Personal care covers non-medical daily living support such as bathing, dressing, meals, and companionship. Medical care — skilled nursing, wound care, physical therapy — is provided by a home health agency. ComForCare provides non-medical care and coordinates with home health providers when skilled services are needed.
Can care start with just a few hours a week?
Yes. Care plans range from a few hours a week through 24-hour and live-in support, and they can be adjusted as needs change.
