Services

Care built around what your family actually needs

Care plans range from a few hours a week through 24-hour support, and they can change as needs change.

Most people want to stay in their own home.

According to AARP, roughly 80% of adults want to age in place. Our job is to make that possible for as long as it is the right answer — and to tell you honestly when it is not.

Who you are working with

Owned and run by a registered nurse

Cindy Gray spent 30 years in nursing and medical device manufacturing before opening ComForCare Greater Orlando. She is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a former Certified Rehabilitation RN and Certified Case Manager.

That background shapes how this office works. Care plans are built by people who have actually managed complex cases, not by a call center reading a script.

Common questions

Questions families ask us first

What is in-home care?

In-home care is non-medical support provided where a person lives. It includes help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meals, along with companionship, transportation, and safety supervision — allowing someone to remain at home rather than move to a facility.

How is in-home care different from home health care?

In-home care is non-medical: personal support and companionship. Home health care is medical care delivered by licensed nurses or therapists. ComForCare provides non-medical care and regularly coordinates with home health providers when skilled services are also needed.

How much does home care cost in Orlando?

Cost depends on the number of hours and level of care. Rates are hourly, so a few hours a week costs far less than full-time support. The most accurate answer comes from a free in-home assessment, and we will give you a clear written rate before you commit to anything.

Does Medicare or insurance pay for in-home care?

Medicare covers skilled home health services under specific conditions, not non-medical personal care. Some long-term care insurance policies reimburse non-medical home care, and some veterans and surviving spouses qualify for VA benefits. ComForCare is generally private pay, and we can help you understand what your policy covers.

How quickly can care start?

Often within a few days of the assessment, and sometimes sooner for urgent hospital discharges. Call (407) 406-5902 and we will tell you honestly what is possible for your situation.

Are your caregivers screened and trained?

Yes. Caregivers are screened for empathy, trained in senior care, and matched to clients based on experience, skills, and compatibility. Our office is DementiaWise®-certified, and caregivers receive ongoing dementia care education.

Ready to talk about care?

A free in-home assessment takes about an hour. We will listen, answer your questions, and give you a clear written rate before you decide anything.
